This book is one of a long and well planned out series . It moves well and has a decent amount of plot twists and detours with like-able characters and semi-despicable ones too. The series should be read in order to make the most sense, but each is a good enough stand alone story that in order is not critical. Eric Flint is one of my favorite authors and I have recommended many of his books to my friends.

This book in the series gets crazy busy and can be hard to follow if your not up to speed from the previous two books. Very good story line though and I liked it.

I greatly enjoyed the continuation of previously introduced characters in this book as they struggle against the daily strife and drama of private lives versus their military conflicts. makes for an excellan addition to the previously published books with these characters. I do not know if it is an intentional series or just a continued use of great characters but I really enjoy it.

I thought this book was pretty good. It moved along well and was easy to follow. It had enough technical details to increase the appreciation for the equipment. I would recommend it to anyone who likes this genre of books.

I think it's a very good read, maybe not quite as interesting as the beginning of the series was. But still a good read

Good read. Lots of action with a personality. Moves along nicely. Balances the separate story lines very well.
