I love mysteries that include historical color that better help me understand that time's sociology. This series does not disappoint. Abbess Helewise usually teams up with nobleman, Josse d'Acquin, but now he is in her infirmary at death's door. When a body is found and one of the two sisters of a new, troublesome nun goes missing, the Abbess takes matters into her own hands. A light, but delightful read.

This is a great fantasy series. If you enjoy stories of individuals discovering their special talents and using them for the good of everyone. The Corean Chronicles are for you. Once again Modestitt has created a great fantasy world. This is book 3. Be sure to start with the 1st one, Legacies
