I loved the book. I like Mr. Smurthwaite's style, a little sentimental, but in a gentle and soothing manner, not annoying. I love how he is able to describe a relationship, and make you, as the reader, feel as if you are a part of it. I come away from his books, this one included, feeling like I can and need to be a better person, without feeling guilty. I would strongly recommend any of his books.

I began to read this book as part of a book club. I only got 30 or 40 pages into it and put it down. It was very sexual, and I didn't want to continue.
