Another Newbery-award-winning biography. Very thought-provoking, delving into the philosophy of the Romantics Louisa grew up knowing through her father.

This is one of my best-beloved books. I have reread it often over the past few years to remind myself of the relationship my Shepherd wants to have with me, His sheep. When I am worried, when I am stressed, when I am discontent, this book helps because it is based on the truth of Psalm 23. This copy I received was for a friend--I've given away at least half a dozen copies of this book. Thanks, God, for creating Max Lucado with insight and skill in writing.
