Fun read. Really enjoyed the twist on such a historical figure. Almost made me believe that vampires could be real.

Pleasant read. Not as exciting as the first of Jennifer Robson's books, but a fun read all the same. Good development of the main character of Charlotte.

This book was just so so for me. It was the story behind one of Rembrandt's paintings.

Very unusual book. Very interesting though. Like stated by other reviews, I couldn't decide if I liked it or not when I finished. The beginning was captivating, but just got very strange after the first part. It was a good, quick read.

Fun quick read. Story of a not so well known fairy tale.

Surprisingly, I liked the movie more than the book.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. Then it went off the rails at the end. Did not fit the character at all. But overall I enjoyed it.

Good book. I liked A Fool's Tale by Nicole Galland better.

A nice look into the time when India was a British colony. The book looks into the lives of three women traveling thru India and their struggles to adjust. The beginning of the book is quite intriguing at the beginning. I think it was a little dragged out and could've been shortened with unneeded detail but overall is a good read. I enjoyed the parts involving the character Tor. The book concentrates on the story of Viva. Rose's story is a bit depressing especially for such a likable character. Overall a good read.

This book was a good read, but it seemed that he got tired of writing the book and just ended it.

Good read, but not good enough for me to pick up the remainder of the books in the series. Maybe someday when I don't have so many other books to read!

Interesting story with many twists and turns. Kept my attention, but a little disappointed in the ending. I would suggest reading!

Such a sweet story. Couldn't wait to see how it ended.

Good book. Better than the 1st book in the triogy. Many exciting stories happening with all the characters. Ok ending.

This book was entertaining but had a predictable and not so wonderful ending.

Not a very good read. Plot was slow to start and story did not really develop. A saloon girl gets a hold of a box full of opium. She tries to keep possession of the box and keep away of a band of outlaws after the box. This whole story is about this girl chasing her alcoholic mother across the west.

I learned much about Mrs. Lincoln and her life after President Lincoln's assassination. Not the happiest of tales, but quite moving. A piece of history not many know about.

An intriguing read into the life of a well known American writer and the lesser known part of his life.
