Very well written book. Race relations in the South. Sad but true happenings at that time. I recommend reading this book...

Loved this book. The era in which the characters developed are my favorite years. A quick read but well done. More of a girls read rather than all readers. Highly recommended.

Most of Erin Hilderbrand's books are similar in style and content. However, I always enjoy her characters. Having spent numerous days on Nantucket over the years, I can always identify the locations she writes about.

Didn't really enjoy this. If you like Wall Street, investments, stocks, etc you may like it. Below average read for me.

My first time reading Eli Gottlieb. Liked the book very much. Will be searching for more of his work. I read it all in one sitting.

Well worth reading. Is it a love story? Yes and No. Quite an unusual one. I loved both main characters.

The book's title aptly describes the wife's character. Much can be said for the quiet type. Didn't like the husband. Very childish man who just doesn't understand growing up and being a husband. Do not believe he deserved what he got though. A very good read...

This book was much better than I expected. Once you get into the characters you cannot wait to see what happens.

Very difficult to follow. Did not enjoy for that reason. I do not recommend unless you are a fan of the author..

Not a great book but a very good book. Her writing reminds me of Anita Shreve. Always serious with relationships breaking down. Her characters are all flawed in love and life.

An unexpected good read. Didn't enjoy right away but then I opened my eyes and appreciated the author's story.

I love all of her books. They are a quick, easy and entertaining read. This one is part of a trilogy.
