I was able to keep interest in this book, the 2nd of 3, much easier than I could in book 1 (Kentucky Rich). I like the characters in the book, but occassionaly get lost when distant relatives are discussed because there are so many family members in the book. I find the character's one tracked devotion to horses difficult to believe at time. Nealy is a little too cold to really enjoy reading about her at times.
