An absolute delightful read that you are sure to enjoy! A rakish hero who is not who he appears to be, a overly curious heroine whose curiosity will be her fall (hmmm...or will it be her savior?), a murder mystery, and a multitude of romance make this book an absolute delight for any regency era fan!

"One More Kiss" is primarily about a extended house party at the dowager Countess of Haven's country home. The party is to introduce her twin goddaughters to a few select members of London's elite prior to their debut in their first London season. Their recently widowed father is a very successful, very wealthy mill owner who wants nothing more than his daughters to marry a titled well-to-do gentleman. The twins are as different in demeanor as they are in looks. Beatrice is lively and overtly curious. Cecilia is quiet, demure, and unsure of herself. At the beginning of the house party, Beatrice is immediately attracted to the scandalous Lord Jessup, however, she is immediately warned off by her father and told she was not to have anything to do with him as he was a scandalous rake. Cecilias beauty makes her the conquest of more than one man, but she feels she is only defined by her beauty, not her true self so she holds herself back from all the men. Cecilias insecurities and another gentleman at the party are attracted to each other, however, both of their insecurities hold them back. Beatrice and Cecilia must learn to follow their heart, and take a chance on love to win the wrong.or right gentleman. Each couples love (and there are multitude of new loves found during the course of the book!) takes them down through twists, turns, and believable events that are relatable by the reader.

I enjoyed how this author portrayed her characters. She kept my attention, made me laugh, and it was a believable romantic tale she portrayed. I would highly recommend this book to all regency era fans. You wont be disappointed!

Loved it!

I loved this book. It was fun and witty. I like a lady with spunk and a hero willing to turn from a rake into a doting husband. After all, isn't that what we all want? I really enjoyed the book. I give it a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars :)

By the way, you can read this as a stand alone book, however, this is not the first book in the series. I recommend you start at the beginning and read them all. I actually read this book (One Rogue Too Many) first, but I enjoyed it so much I had to read the first few books in the series. I found they all ran together and you understood more of the character's if you read the books in order. This book is going in my "keeper" pile. My public library has almost all new release books available immediately upon release as an e-book so I can read them before buying them. I read this one----Then I purchased it :)
