My 13 year old son snagged this book as soon as it arrived in the mail and read it before I could get my hands on it. He really enjoyed it but said it was a pretty quick read and ended too soon. He is now waiting for the next book to come out. I think that is the best recommendation for any book...I am now reading it as well and my 8 year old wants to read it next.

As a person with RSD/CRPS I found this book both informative and inspiring. I live with a debilitating neurological condition and know that half of the battle is a mental one. I live each day saying "RSD doesn't define me, RSD doesn't own me" Therefore, I could somewhat relate to many parts of this book and while I do not have MS I found several parts motivating and inspirational. I think this is a great resource and tool for anyone whose life is touched or affected by MS and can only wish there was something similiar for RSD....maybe one day! :)I give this book 4 stars.

I was very intrigued td The Dog Stars and was not disappointed. The post-apocolyptic story, although very popular right now, was done in an interesting manner. The character development and the use of man's best friend made it an endearing read. Peter Heller's writing style is unique and took a few chapters to get used to, but once the story captivated me, the writing style was no longer an issue. I am giving this book a solid 4 stars and sharing it with a few of my friends.

The only reason Grace Unexpected is receiving 4 stars and not 5 is that it was slow to get into....but once I did...watch out! My husband was not so appreciative of Gale Martin's writing style as I was laughing out loud in the middle of the night while reading! I LOVED these books and wish I had them when my oldest was a tween/teen. I still have 3 children at home and I am sure these are going to be great resources for conversations with them. I have also shared these books with our Youth Group Leaders and Sunday School teachers as many of the youth at our church do not have Christian parents to have these conversations with. The Scenerios will be great for discussion starters.
