Linda Larsen's Everything Meals for a Month Cookbook is well organized and loaded with helpful tips for planning, cooking day, freezing, thawing & reheating/cooking, and serving. The disappointment for me is recipes that require ingredients I don't use: frozen hash brown potatoes or potato wedges, purchased pie shells, cans of soup. I prefer use fresh ingredients instead of prepared ones or convenience foods.
