This book was well written. I appreciated the fact there were few swear words. I don't usually read books that have to do with murders, but this one held my attention and made me want to read more of the like. Good story-telling - surprise ending.

The book started out slow and it took quite a few pages to completely describe each character and their part in the story. Once all that was done, it really held my attention and it was hard to put it down. Pretty well written, although I think the "lead up" to the actual story was a bit long.

Sweet story of true love - the true definition of "good times and bad, in sickness and in health". G.I. Joe had lived through hell during the war and his nightmares were common reminders. But Lillie stuck with him through it all. Their love was genuine and it shined through in this book written by their son, Joe Bonsall, a member of the Oak Ridge Boys.

Very good book! Very well written. Hard to believe it's non-fiction. Readers won't believe the type of parents she had that "raised" her. Held my attention -

This is, so far, my favorite Kristin Hannah book. Very moving, very poignant. I could hardly put it down.

I loved this book! I have only recently discovered Kristin Hannah and I have loved every book of hers that I have read so far. She tells a good, clean story and really held my attention. Her characters are very "believable" and are so much just like every day life, which is what I like, as compared to a "fairy-tale land" type of story.
