I live in a supposedly fairly remote area of NM, but have found many friends who share the same interests and enjoy living in such a beautiful spot. Don't tell anyone. We do not want it to get too overcrowded. I am going to let my friends know about PBS. We have pot lucks and gab sessions just for the ladies.

Some of my favorite recent books that I have read are Dream of the Walled City by Lisa Huang Fleischman, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See, Empire Falls by Richard Russo, Brick Lane by Monica Ali, Kite Runner by Kiled Hosseini , Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Family Matters by Rohinton Mistry, and A Thousand Acres by Jane Smiley etc etc. I am getting ready to read the Memory Keeper's Daughter and Kiled Hosseini new book A Thousand Spended Suns.
