My favorite genre of books is Fiction, specifically Psychological Thrillers and Mystery novels, as well as Contemporary Fiction and Women's Fiction. However, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and love to read Fantasy and "Magic" books too. Finally I have read a significant amount of Science Fiction Fantasy (e.g. Piers Anthony Xanth series) and Historical Fiction. 

The Bobsey Twins at the Seashore was the very first chapter book that I remember reading.

What is yours?

I was reading books with my grandmother when I was 4 and 5 years old. We lived in Central America and Spanish is my first language. I remember reading the stories of 1001 Arabian Nights, and my grandmother gifted me her books when I was 7 and moving to the United States. I treasure them, and reading with her are some of my favorite memories.  I definitely got my love of books from my "Gami"  I was too little to pronounce "Grandmere" like my older cousin.
