This was a good book. (I find that almost all of hers are.) If you've read the series or even just the few prior to this one, you will like it even more, as it has ties to the previous books. I did find it pretty easy to figure it out except for one part at the end. Good though!

Halloween is approaching in Scumble River, and school psychologist Skye Denison has reluctantly volunteered to dress up as a witch in a Haunted House fundraiser to raise money for the school's Promfest. But when the event's overbearing chairwoman, Annette Paine, is found dead during the dress rehearsal for the Promfest, the police aren't sure if Annette's death was murder or an accident. Skye begins to fear that she herself was the intended victim.
This is the eleventh book in the Scumble River series, another fun mystery. However, in my opinion, not as good as most of the others in the series, because there is very little interaction between Skye and her family, friends and boyfriend. Most of the family and friends are out of town for the whole story, and I missed them very much!

I read this book in 3 days, the story was fun and kept me interested. I should read the rest of the series!
