A lot of interesting information, although the author unfortunately belongs to the "tell them, tell them, and tell them again" school of writing.

Not just a math book... a sociological, religious, history, AND math book. Seife has an engaging way of writing about lofty topics.
Math concepts well presented for the layman.
The writing is very patronizing, as if the author thought that all his readers were not-very-bright eleven year olds. I didn't really need multiple paragraphs to explain to me that any number multiplied by zero gives zero. I know that. I did manage to finish grade school. There is some interesting stuff in here, but I didn't find it worth the reading.
