Wonderfully weird and zany, perfect Norton, makes you feel like your hallucinating. If you're new to Andre Norton, this is a good book to start with.
Fantasy. Girl of nobility loses everything and has to live in the wild, surviving only by learning to hunt, etc. World is lawless and people are dangerous. Choppy pacing. Difficult for me to sympathize with main character. Abrupt ending. If you like Andre Norton, though, you might like this book.
Really trip book. Didn't make sense most of the time. Story wasn't very coherent, it read kind of like how it would, if some one wrote it while they were hallucinating, all over the place. Story was not that interesting, and ending was blunt. I really had to push through it, after the first couple chapters. The first couple chapters were pretty fun to read and then it just got way to weird.
