This book is a really good read. It is about the Yukon Quest sled dog race. This journalist was sent by the paper he worked for to cover this race and he covered the race from start to finish. It was well written and gave the perspective from another point of view, not just the perspective of the mushers. He ate where they ate, he slept where they slept and followed them through the whole race. An excellent book if you are into this genre.

This book was awesome. The author combined facts, humor, and a wonderful writing style to make you feel like you were on the trail, and tugged at your emotions. I highly recommend it for any sled dog mushing fan.
