This is best described as "Confederacy of Dunces" meets high school. The main character has your typical young teen smarter-than-everyone-else attitude, but there's a sincerity behind it that makes it endearing. The vocabulary in this book is somewhat elevated, making it a bit difficult to get through in certain parts, but adds to the total superiority feel of the book. I got through this pretty quick, but I think it's mainly because I was interested in how mischievous this teen was - he caused more trouble during the course of this book than I have ever heard of anyone causing. Ever. I wanted to both smack and hug this kid at the same time.

Read most of this book... However got bored with it towards the end and didn't finish.. Was highly recommended to me and given as a parting gift, but not quite my cup 'a tea.
