This is a stunning book of photos that show Yosemite National Park in California's Sierra Nevada mountains, in all its four-season beauty. Be sure to pay attention to Tunnel View, which shows Bridalveil Fall and the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome. The photos, especially of the various waterfalls, are extraordinary. Another photo I was in awe of was 'Rocks, Ice and Sunset Light.' I doubt I could describe it adequately.
The reason I rated this book a '4' is because of how the photos were shown and described. Each page has a wonderful photo but tells its name in white print (almost impossible to read against the gray page color). Then, the authors did not tell the reader that each picture had a note (at the end of the book) explaining more about the significance of the photo. It wasn't until I finished the book that I saw the notes.
