Emily's life couldn't get worse. She is forced to move to England, where her town is named something resembling Piddlesville, and there are no malls. Told in email format.

You have to laugh at Emily's zany antics.

I loved the first sequel ("They Wear What Under Their Kilts?") but then I read this and didn't like it. I love all the books in Louise Rennison's Georgia Nicholson series, but one Emily Williams book was enough for me.

I found this book completely and totally hilarious. I'm not sure why it got such a low starred review but it is fantastic. It's written in emails from the main character Emily, to her best friend Dru. Emily has moved to England and so many hijinks insue that I couldn't put it, or the sequels down. I recommend it to anyone who likes a fun, light read.

This is a cute book even if it is a little predictable. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Addictive! You don't have to be 16 to enjoy this book. It transports you back to hilarious teenage angst (boys, makeup, parents, wardrobe, boys, school, celebrity hearthrobs, embarassing situations/outcomes, boys, boys, BOYS). Many laugh out loud moments. Written in email correspondence style between Emily (trapped in UK) to her best friend in Seattle. You find yourself thinking "I'll just read until the next chapter" but there aren't any so you resolve to read "just one more" email or page but can't stop.

I'd hoped for something like Georgia Nicholson for the older crowd. I really only got the latter. The book has it's amusing moments, but Emily just doesn't seem to be as clever as Georgia. In fact, she spends quite a bit of the book being what can only be described as determinedly clueless.

The writing itself, however, was not bad at all. I could have done with more of the minor but hilarious little goings on that we found in Georgia's life.

Fun teen book written in the form of emails about the ups and downs of being a teenager today.

Good for "tween" girls up through the teenage years - fun and easy to relate to with a British twist!
