What a fun and enjoyable book for the Downton Abbey fan and historical buffs. Written using Downtown Abbey as the setting, the book is loaded with historical information about the changing times in the 1920's after: modernization, education, social changes, etc are all covered along with snippets of books from the times thrown in (such as not educating children until the age of 9). Very enjoyable read and one of the few times I have read a coffee table style book from cover to cover.
