This is listed as a kind of memoir. Though it is nonfiction, the book tells the story of how the author made a goal to deal with her clutter in a year. This is not a how-to book, though the author does share things she learned about decluttering throughout the year. I especially enjoyed reading about the family dynamics and about the difficulty of proper placement of items they decided to remove from the house.
