I could NOT put this book down!! About half way through this novel, I started imagining who would play Scott, Sally, Hope, Ashley and even the "villian" Michael O'Connell. This would be an awesome movie. Its a awesome read for a weekend. Keep the lights on!!

This is, after a slightly slow beginning, a roller coaster ride of suspense and thrills. A young woman who is being stalked by a spurned lover, turns to her family for help. When the stalker learns of this he begins an insidious attack on each of them through computer hacking. Soon their careers and reputations are on the verge of being destroyed. Then there are the mysterious, vicious attacks on people associated with the young woman. As the family realizes that they have to take matters into their own hands to rid their lives of this insane monster, they come up with an intricate scheme that is chilling in its performance. I can highly recommend The Wrong Man. It's one of Katzenbach's absolute best.

What a great story! John Katzenbach does a terrific job of setting the stage, building in some interesting (and frightening) details, developing the characters, and tying it all up in an edge-of-your-seat thriller. I especially enjoyed the attention to detail and the very satisfying ending. This was my first by Mr. Katzenbach, but it won't be my last.

I'm a huge mystery/thriller fan, and read that genre almost exclusively, so I'm no novice when it comes to authors trying to scare you. This book is a psychological thriller like I've not read before -- I couldn't read it when I was alone in the house! I liked the fact that it didn't need to be bloody/gory to be scary, either. For the most part, if there was a struggle to be depicted, it was done "off camera", allowing the imagination of the reader to build a picture of what might have happened. Even though you know pretty early on who the protagonist is, the story still has ways to keep you guessing as to what might happen.
