This book is interesting. President Ford was not a great President in the normal rating system, but he had issues to deal with that no president in modern day had been subject to which made his time in office unique.

One of the few books I've read that acknowledges that the Fords lived most of the time post-Retirement in Rancho Mirage, my stomping grounds. As you can tell by the title and description, this isn't so much a book about Geral Ford as about the author revelling in his relationship with Jerry Ford, and how proud the author is that he never (well, hardly ever) broke his confidence.
