I read this because I saw a good review somewhere. It is supposed to be funny essays, but the author is in a different point in her life and leads a different life than me so they were not that funny to me. They weren't not funny but I am not a 40 year old black lesbian living in the midwest who grew up on welfare listening to grunge music so I just didn't relate to too much!
