I liked this book because it opened me up to more mysteries than just Atlantis. There are fascinating things that I have never even heard of. And wonderful pictures!

Interesting book from Reader's Digest---the pictures are detailed and the stories a good read.
A nice large Reader's Digest Book. Many illustrations, some in color. 319 pages.
Very well illustrated, this book is a first stop on a journey of personal edification for those who want to explore our world's timeless mysteries.
This book looks at fabled lands, the strange stones of Western Europe, Stonehenge, cities of mystery that no longer exist, Secrets of the pyramids, vanished people and places. It is like the TV Program, Secrets of the Dead in book form. It is a great read to say the least!
Lots of interesting information! I enjoyed the book.
