I appreciate a book that can explain the contemplative life in simple terms. Br. Talbot does an excellent job of that. The well-known Catholic singer (some say he was the first of the popular religious singers and led the way) and monk explains how to live a holy, contemplative life without giving up modern society. It is well-written, certainly well thought out, and I found it inspiring.
