You have to give this book a chance -- I liked it better than the first book in the Daily TX series (Talk of the Town). After the first couple chapters (that's about how long it took me to get into the book), I was really invested in Nate and his script, Lauren and all her issues, Justin and his vanity and all the others in Daily. I did not like the 3 page phone dialogue with Lauren's father near the beginning of the book -- it was like the song that never ends. Other than that and the slow start, the book just started to flow and I had a hard time putting it down. Definitely a good read!

It's back to Daily, Texas and the beloved Dailyians! This is another hit for Lisa Wingate. I enjoyed the horses and Hollywood theme. Lauren, Nate and Justin all had burdens that they were bearing but as the story played out, they all overcame those burdens and were able to move on with their lives. Lauren refers to God as "The Good Horseman". You have only to turn to Him and his arms are open. Great book! I loved it!
