It's a wonderful introduction for toddlers to the fascinating world around us. Even adults might learn a thing or two from reading this. I did and I have a pretty good knowledge of the flora and fauna (how did I not know that kangaroo rats made use of metabolic water? So cool!).
However, it's still beautiful, captivating and full of small details. It does a pretty good job of representing several different biomes, but largely sticks to what we would are familiar with in the US/Canada.
