The book tells the adventures of Emma, Hattie, Brilely and Clara. How they wound up in Crooked Creek; a little of their past and some of their hopes and dreams. A very good western. It could have gone a little farther with the stories, but that is for the other books in the Crooked Creek Series. you will find yourself surprised, or maybe not. If you like adventure, westerns, women's stories or feel good stories you will enjoy this book.
