Extremely poor reporting (although brilliant writing); if Mr. Franklin had consulted scientists in animal behavior and ethology, rather than those in other fields, he may have gotten the answers to his questions. I'm uncertain what the point of writing this book was since it does not represent the facts, as we so far understand them, regarding how Canis Lupus became Canis Lupus Familiaris.
