God this book was boring. I like Will in the previous books but here he seems rather spineless, and Prisca comes off as a spoiled annoying brat. Really a miss in comparison to the other books.

I wanted to like this book so badly. I loved the first two books in this series (A Certain Wolfish Charm and Tall, Dark and Wolfish). I was ready to love this one but it fell flat. I hated Prisca. She did not deserve Will. He was nothing short of wonderful to her and she was nothing but a spoiled brat who was TSTL most of the time. I highly recommend the first two books . I just can't recommend this book.

I agree with the other reviewers...the first two books are terrific and this one just doesn't meet up. I still liked Will, and he's what kept me reading, but Prisca IS a spoiled brat (by her own admission, actually) and that makes it a difficult read. I kept getting the feeling that the author was trying too hard with this book and it's busier and more complicated than it needs to be.

What a disappointment! Oddly enough it wasn't the characters that I hated but that the relationship between Will and Prisca went in circles. Lot of misunderstanding and assumptions but unlike with the previous book, Will and Prisca just reacts throughout the book and barely discuss it. Hence they went in circles and it was very annoying. Perhaps if Dare cut this down to a short story it would have been more bearable. It is a shame because I enjoyed both characters in the previous books.
On top of that, it really angered me that everyone (including the ladies) was so keened on keeping Prisca in the dark. What is the big deal with helping her out and letting her know what to expect. And Will refusing to be with her until the full moon was just another lame excuse to create more "drama" in the story.
Prisca and Will definitely didn't do it for me as a couple. Weak story, don't waste your time. I did force myself to finish the book though and I've never been so glad for it to end. It was like getting out of prison or something. There were a few times in the story where I wished it was the end.
This series is entertaining but not worth the credits or real money. Not sure if I will continue with the next book which is about Cait and Dashiel.
