found this story hard to put down.
This was a pretty good book - not the best I've read in this genre, but certainly not the worst. It would have been nice to have had more background on the witches - maybe alternating chapters could have been used. I loved the story idea, and the fact that the main Wiccan wasn't perfect and made mistakes, and I especially liked how the text wasn't filled with her lusting after every man she came across (and the accompanying descriptions of "rippled abs" and chiseled thighs, etc. ad nauseum).
Witheringly bad. Pun indeed intended. Read it just to finish it. Not compelling, characters you could care less about, laugh-out-loud-because-it's-so-bad prose.
