This is the second book in the Supernatural TV tie-in's and, as far as I'm concerned, a far better read than the first book. The original book, 'Nevermore', written by Keith R. A. DeCandido, seemed very juvenile in it's writing style, vocabulary, plot, etc.
I found this second book to have a much more adult feel to it in plot, writing style and character development. I also think it did a much better job of keeping to the personalities and characterizations of Sam and Dean that have been established by the TV program.
Although the plot and writing aren't as strong as that that is found on the show, I'd still recommend this book as an entertaining read for any fan of 'Supernatural'.
