The other two books, Prospero's Children and the Dragon Charmer moved slowly and took forever for things to happen. This one doesn't, liked it the best of the three.

The Witch Queen is the third in the series writen by Jan Siegel, the first being Prospero's Child, and the second The Dragon Charmer. The Witch Queen is the story of Fern at 30 years old. Fern pretty much believes she's grown up and gotten away from the world of myth and magic, but again comes an attack from Morgus the witch-who basically wants to rule the modern world. An interesting switch from the transport to the day of yester-year in the other books. I enjoyed this book.
