Your basic story about good versus evil and redemption. Except that it's wrapped in a package that any 11 or 12 year old would love to read. Lots of action.

The character is spunky, and the plot is interesting. This book really bridges the gap between "old man" and "no-good teenager". I loved how Meg, the main character, comes back to try and save her soul, but in the end, she saves not only her soul, but that of someone completely different in every way... But are they really that different after all?

The story of a troublemaker named Meg who is "too good for hell and too bad for heaven". From the back of the book, "Her soul is up for grabs as the divine and demonic try every underhanded trick imaginable to claim it. Meg's only chance to redeem herself is to help the old man she robbed fulfill his list of last wishes... before time runs out"

This book made me laugh out loud. :) I enjoyed the characters and the situations they got into. The book has a teen target audience, but I still liked it as an adult. I'll definitely be reading other books by Eoin Colfer!

This book is an awesome book with good and evil in the balance.
When Meg Finn dies, she goes into a tunnel leading toward heaven and hell. Her spirit is moving towards hell when and the last moment she heads for heaven, but her sins and good deeds are equal so she is sent back to earth to help a man, the man she tried to rob the night she died. Lowrie writes a list of things he needs to do before he dies, and it is Meg's job to help him. They strugle to finish this Wish List while Satan tries to stop them. This book is one of the best books I have read, and I would also recomend other books by Eoin Colfer like Airman, The Artemis Fowl series, and The Supernaturalist.

I enjoyed this fantasy about a young girl who learns about helping people. I especially liked the interactions between Meg and Lowrie and between St. Peter and Beezlebub.

I liked it better than the Artemis Fowl series. Very cute, parts are ridiculous, but its a book so that's okay!
Husband says- like the fowl books, had a hard time getting through it. a cheap version of Five People You Meet in Heaven.
