I love reading books by this author. The main character Joseph works in a family business that has an issue arise with one of his brother's. He is forced to leave the company & encounters obstacles in his journey to his new career. Let's just say he learns to make lemonade out of lemons. Enjoyable read to the very end. ETA: Liked the references to Chicago that brought back memories.
A modern day retelling of the Joseph & the coat of many colors from the bible. Very good! I could not put it down. In true Richard Paul Evans fashion, chapters are short, story is an easy read, feels like you are right there. RPE has a way of writing that just sucks you in. Very heartwarming story. LOVED it!
Evans is one of my favorite authors, so when I first started this book, I was really disappointed. It seemed so cruel and not at all what one expects from RPE.
As I read on I realized that I needed to take my own advice and trust the author. This ended up living up to all expectations and then some. Based on the story of Joseph from the Old Testament, it also touched on the story of The Prodigal Son. I ended up loving it!
Try it; you'll like it!
