A girl named Winni is upset when her parents refuse to buy her a horse. When a worker at the school cafeteria remarks that Winni eats so many vegetables that she might turn into a horse herself, Winni decides that's just what she's going to do. And slowly Winni does manage to turn herself into a pony. Will Winni be happy as a horse? Colorful cartoon-style illustrations accompany the text.
