I kept trying to find any redeeming quality in this book about the author and her extended family. How she could find any of this humorous is beyond me. Someone, please go and rescue any and all animals in their care.
She gets and, in one case, attempts to breed, pets, because she thinks it's cute to take in animals with problems that she cannot help and keep them, basically, miserable prisoners.
Please, for the sake of the world, halt all attempts at pet ownership.
