While reading this book I suddenly realized that I was about two-thirds through it and there was still no sign of a murder, let alone a crime. So far, all it had dealt with was Elizabeth MacPherson's wedding. So kudos to the author who wrote entertainingly enough to keep me interested, all the while setting up the plot in which a murder does occur late in the book. But while Elizabeth helps, her main concern is her wedding and attending a tea with Britain's Queen Elizabeth; it is her brother Geoffrey who solves the crime.
