The detail is amazing. Not for the faint of heart. This is a scripture by scripture explanation, with illustrations and charts. I didn't give it five stars because sometimes the information is so detailed that I just had to take a break and start back at it later. Book was written in 1985, so it doesn't have the flash of today's Bible commentaries, but it does give a lot of good information that will give you a better understanding of the Scriptures.
