The story of William Wilberforce is fascinating. You see a man filled with determination and who is more concerned about standing up for Christ's sake more than for his own sake. . . and by doing right according to what Christ's word states as well. What a tough battle he fought for the sake of justice!! I applaud him! It was interesting to learn so much more about him than just the usual known instances about his endurance and stances in parliament against slavery. At many points in this book though I was bored out of my mind, but once it got into the story again I didn't put the book down, but it took a while to get to that point, sadly. This had TOO much information of overflow about who was who and what they did. . .rather than focusing more strictly on just Mr. Wilberforce.
