An excellent description of the Pilgrim's struggle to get aboard the Mayflower,battle the perils of the Ocean,and build a life on a strange new land. Although this book has been written apparently for young readers. This book has a rather difficult start in that respect. I feel the book is enjoyable for older readers as the content does read like a story, but young readers may have problems understanding the content especially in the beginning. This book is exceptional in that you often feel as if you are there observing the details of their lives while being unable to provide the help they need.
