scottish/french historical romance
Reviewer: J. Abbott "Jen Abbott" (Pennsylvania) -
I had to write a review since the other review was by someone who states she didn't even read the book. I got this book from my grandmother, then my mom, when I was 16 years old. I am now 31 and have been reading this book once a year since I got it. Ellen Tanner Marsh wraps a tale so well that you live the story, not just read it. I absolutely love this book. It is deeply romantic and deeply informative. I feel like I've been to England and France. I feel like I've seen the outcomes of battles, splendor of the ballrooms, the staleness of the two room shack. This book is well worth the read and I hope other people don't miss this historical romance!
