Wow Joy! Can't believe Belichick is gone.  Although I know there were others, he's the only coach I recall NE ever having. Some Giant fans on social media are already hallucinating that he will come back to NY as the defensive coordinator.  lol.

Yes, Betty, I almost choked on my coffee yesterday morning when I read the news about Belichick. Although I remember some of the other coaches, Pete Carroll (now he's gone from Seattle) for instance,  it is going to be very weird not to see Bill standing on the sidelines next year. They have already hired Jerod Mayo (previous Patriot player, currently the outside linebackers coach.)  Apparently, it was in Mayo's contract that he would replace Bill when the time came—kind of a weird addition to a contract IMHO.

Wow. That is strange to have that already in the contract!  Also just watched the Dallas game and boy oh boy, read a lot of comments on social media speculating Jerry Jones might try to get Bill & fire McCarthy.  Wouldn't surprise me. Jerry's not getting any younger.

That's for sure, Bettyjean! He's also not getting any happier with his team. It would not surprise me a bit if he fired McCarthy. Getting Bill is an intriguing possibility. That young quarterback in Green Bay is quite the player to watch. I'm hearing a lot of positive comments about him and he is exciting to watch.

Green Bay is very good at picking QBs. They went from Favre to Rodgers to Love with no problems.
