What if Mr. Darcy had quickly corrected his opening gaffe of pronouncing Lizzy "not handsome enough to tempt me?" Would the road to true love run smooth? Probably not - this is where we begin this "what if?" story and it's a charming tale. I especially loved how one small change altered other lives as well, and as we anticipated the well-known events coming, we saw how they were handled differently by everyone now that this one roadblock has been cleared. If you love Pride and Prejudice, you'll like this "alternate reality" story.

I just really loved this book. How one little change can make such a huge difference in the story. Plus the added characters weren't bad either. Thankfully Darcy has help to get thru this tricky time of life. What does a man do when he thinks his loyalty adheres him to one woman but he loves another? Especially if he's as tongue tied as Mr. Darcy? What a fun read.
