As one of the most requested books on PBS and a Broadway play, I'll not address the story at all. I'll just say that even though long, this was a wonderful reading and a joy to hear. I have never listened to an audio read by John McDonough that I didn't like and he was as good or better here. He always manages to read the book as if he were telling the story straight to you, and gives the characters subtle but distinctive differences. Highly recommended.
