This was a light, fast read with a nice amount of humor. I read this book of the series first and didn't feel like I'd missed things by reading them out of order. Harriet is named godmother and guardian to 2 twins after their father dies. She thinks well of everyone, so doesn't realize that the twins resent her and are spreading malicious gossip. When they go to London for the season, the servants in the London house, band together to make for a happy ending.

Great book...you really get to see how Society ladies turn on each other. I liked Harriet's character best, although the chaperone has her moments too.
