Awesome coffee table book, or good for a short bus ride, or doctors visit in the waiting room, or even something light to read at the laundrymat. It has info on just about every food you can imagine!

I especially enjoy the chapter on Junk Food which includes lots of current candy on the market today and how they got their names. KitKats named after a bar... Junior Mints named after a broadway play, Snickers named after a horse etc etc. And Finally the mystery of why crackers have holes is answered, LOL.

you may also learn some interesting things like:
--- in what state it is legal to eat your roadkill
--- why airplane food is so bad (high altitude dulls your tastebuds)
--- bannanas are classified as berries!!!!

So much interesting info its mind-blowing. This is a fascinating book for any food lover! Glad I ordered it!
