This brilliant spoof is beautifully photographed (and photoshopped). The text is just enough over the top to make it clear they're making it up, but it's so well done that a good many people have mistaken it for truth. It's a send-up of both cat books and art books, whimsical and funny and a great conversation-starter as a coffee-table book.

I love books where you are never quite sure whether the author is taking himself/herself seriously or not. Since the authors are from New Zealand, maybe the Corialis Force going the other way brings out a cat's creativity?

I love this book, whether it's true or not!
Wonderful full-color pictures; interesting text throughout.
Don't forget to check out the book "Dancing with Cats" (ISBN-13: 9780811824156 - ISBN-10: 0811824152) also!

I love this book and the artist cats in it. So much in fact -that I,m keeping my copy a little longer to see if I can teach my cats to paint.

To paraphrase Professor Dr. von Inglefeld's colleagues, the authors have covered everything, "there is absolutely nothing more to write on this subject"

a cogently argued theory based on recent evidence that some cats marks in paint are aesthetically movitaved and should be considered works of art. lots of color illustrations .. inscription in front of book
